Pocosin Residency!

I find it hard to believe, but it's simply true! Its almost been 3 months now since my arrival in Columbia, NC! It has been an exciting and adventurous journey so far, especially getting acquainted with the local area and people. Pocosin Arts has had no shortage of things for me to do, everything from pulling weeds to database entry, event photography, building repairs, etc! No matter what the task, they can count on me!

It is also amazing watching how my own personal perspective as well as the physical work itself is changing and evolving around the local environments. These exciting changes are also the result of working along side Marlene True who's superb craft and inventive ideas translate into a powerful source of motivation.

Pocosin Artist in Residence

Today was a spectacular day as I found out that I have been selected for the Pocosin Artist in Residency program in Eastern North Carolina! It is a great honor to have such an opportunity and I am excited to work with as well as learn from the Pocosin Arts Folk School!
