The Beard Shaker is a piece intended to challenge a viewers comfort zone as to what is repulsive and discomforting by the distribution of ones beard trimming in public spaces. It is meant to be uncanny and disruptive of socially constructed comfort zones in order to gain understanding about imposed norms.
